Going to the BIG City!

I am so excited that I’ll be making my first appearance at the humongous BEA – Book Expo America – tradeshow next week in NYC! I’ll be signing at the Harlequin booth on Wednesday, May 26 and at the RWA booth on Thursday, May 27 – both at 2:00pm.

If you will be attending, PLEASE stop by and say hello…and get a copy of my current Harlequin and Kensington Brava books…

I just found a fabulous iPhone app for the show — with searchable schedules and lists and everything a person needs to prepare and attend the show. Look for the BEAmobile app….and use it!

Pleasurably Undone – The Cover!

I just got the coverart for the April Harlequin Historical anthology – PLEASURABLY UNDONE – which features my short story – A NIGHT FOR HER PLEASURE and four others by Christine Merrill, Diane Gaston, Michelle Willingham and Louise Allen.

What do you think?

A Storm of Passion – Book Trailer!

Woohooo!! The book trailer for my Kensington Brava – A Storm of Passion – went live today all over the internet. Here’s a link to it on the Kensington Books website … in case the imbed doesn’t work!

A Storm of Passion on YouTube

Terri B

PS – please ignore what looks like an Italian villa in my Norse/Scots medieval story…. LOL!

An update: apparently the trailer is down now, so that a misspelled word can be corrected….I’m hoping it is back live soon! I’ll post when it is….

Update #2 — the trailer is on You Tube again – but my name is misspelled in the title and tag so you have to look for either “A Storm of Passion” or “A Storm of Passion by Terri Brisban”…..instead of the way I spell my name… Hoping it will get corrected soon…

PS — an art historian friend corrected my comment about the building being an Italian villa — she told me it’s actually a medieval period church…probably Norman, which is correct for my story’s timing…. I stand corrected! LOL!

O, Lord, Save Us from the Northmen!

I’m celebrating my new book, A STORM OF PASSION, with a new contest! Take a look at My Contest page and enter to win!

Coverart Alert! Woohooo!

A sneak peek!! Take a look:

Isn’t it pretty? I just love the rich colors and the sexy design! And my name under Susan Johnson’s doesn’t look bad, does it? LOL! I’m so thrilled to be in this anthology with Susan and Mary….

Can’t wait until May 2010…..

Ebook Coming in Print!

undone-from-amazonI just got word that A NIGHT FOR HER PLEASURE, my first Harlequin Historical UNDONE ebook, will be released in print as part of a collection called PLEASURABLY UNDONE! coming in April 2010.  My story, along with UNDONEs by Christine Merrill, Diane Gaston, Louise Allen and Michelle Willingham, will be one of the April Harlequin Historicals releases, available in bookstores and through online booksellers.

I’ll have more info here as it gets closer!

Catching Up since Scotland. . .

It’s hard to believe that almost a month has past since I arrived home from Scotland.  And it’s been a busy, tumultuous month.

Now, after finishing my novella for the Brava anthology, UNDONE!, and turning in my revisions for my second Knights of Brittany book for Harlequin Historicals, I’m trying to catch up on sooooo many things left untended before and during the trip.

First — my website contest to celebrate the UK release of my HIGHLANDER trilogy — my Summer of Hot Highlanders! I picked 10 winners from those who entered and they’ll receive an autographed set of all 3 books, including TAMING THE HIGHLANDER, SURRENDER TO THE HIGHLANDER and POSSESSED BY THE HIGHLANDER. The winners are:

Joy I of  Mesa AZ
Barbara A of Brooksville FL
Andrea  S of Bridgeville DE
Eleanor H of  Greenville PA
Theresa N of North Augusta SC
Dalila G of  Las Cruces NM
Belinda M of Bayonne NJ
Ashley V of Crestline OH
Laurie G of Waipahu HI
Alicia H of Anchorage AK

     Congrats to all the winners!

Speaking of contests — I am frantically trying to catch up on all my past prize winners — from various blogs and website visits — so if you’re one and I’ve missed you, please email me!

And speaking of contests again — I found some really cute tshirts to use to celebrate my upcoming Brava romance. Since it’s set in the Viking-controlled islands off Scotland, I went shopping at the Little Viking Shop in San Diego and found ones about the Viking invasions. In addition to the t-shirts, I have some souvenirs from my trip from the islands where my books are set. I hope you’ll check back on my website and enter when the contest opens.

So, I’m hoping to get caught up this week, before the NJRW Conference. There’s still lots to do, so I’m off again….
OH — I wanted to let any readers or subscribers of RT magazine to keep an eye out for something special in the December issue.  My publisher has something special planned too.     : )  More info coming soon about that!
PS — I’m off to watch my man, Gerard Butler, host SNL — he’s singing Music of the Night from PHANTOM!!

What Is a Jaunty Quill anyway?

Well, a Jaunty Quill is a romance author who belongs to the Sisterhood of the Jaunty Quills and blogs each month about love, life and writing romance. And, as of today, I am now one! I’ve been invited to join the Sisterhood (started by former and current historical authors published by Avon) which has now expanded to include 20 authors who write in every subgenre of romance.

My first blog will be August 6th — and I’ll be blogging twice monthly from then on. There are also contests and other exciting things going on over there, so I hope you’ll all stop by.

A Brava Anthology – Oh My!

I was just reading back through my recent (sparse!) postings and realized I didn’t share my new news! I’ve been invited to write a novella for a Brava historical anthology that will be headlined by Susan Johnson! Mary Wine will also be joining us in the collection.

I’ve been reading Susan’s historicals forEVER and can’t believe I’m going to have something of mine in a collection with her! Woohoo!

Tentative release date is May 2010 – I’ll keep you updated if that changes….
